Some New Desk Organization

Organization

Good Morning! The past week(ish) I’ve been working to organize my desk drawers. I have tried over and over again but they always end up moving around and getting all messy very quickly. So, I decided to get some containers to seperate each area. I just bough a bunch of different sizes of Rubbermaid drawer organizers. Then, I also got one that was meant to seperate silverware/cutlery. I like it specifically since it has a non-slip bottom. That way, my pens and stationary don’t move around as much. If you need an idea of where to get these things, I found them at my local hardware store. Originally I thought I could find something similar at Dollar General but i couldn’t find anything that would work for me.

And here in the cabinet portion of my desk, I stored the larger containers that I keep my pens in 🙂
PS: I ran out of room in my tombow container (the black one) I guess I need another! Or… I could stop buying pens I suppose

Or not 😉

My May Monthly Spread

Bullet Journaling

Happy Friday! There’s one week until May! So, I decided to show you guys my May monthly spreads 🙂 I decided for this month’s theme to be wildflowers. I was inspired a poster I got recently for my room that shows a bunch of wildflowers from North America. Also, I always love finding pretty wildflowers when I go on walks with my boyfriend through the woods in my town.

And by the way, I downloaded an app that helps me to identify the flowers I find. I thought that was very cool!

Nonetheless, I made a cover page, calendar, and habit tracker in my journal. Im so excited to start using my new, red leuchtturm 1917!

My April Monthly Spread

Bullet Journaling

Happy Easter everyone! Today I thought I’d share my April Monthly spread. This month i chose for my theme to reflect “April showers bring May flowers”. So, I incorporated drawings related to rain such as an umbrella, rain boots, clouds, puddles, etc. Then, I also added some flower borders on the two corners. For the calender portion, I only used one page since I knew I would not have very extensive plans this month during quarantine.

Unfortunately, my markers are pretty old so the numbers were worn down. However I hope this can help enough for you to know which I used for my spread.

How I Hang Up Pictures In My Room

Organization

During Quarantine, I’ve been organizing my room a lot. After I cleaned my desk, I added a few things in order to hang up the pictures I draw along with other things such as schoolwork, pictures I printed out, and notes. First, I replaced my shelves above my desk with a bulletin board.

Since, I have put pictures and my class schedule up. Second, I decorated clothes pins with colorful markers and stuck them onto my wall with small peices of command strips. Now, I have a place to show my drawings. What I like about the clothes pins is that the pictures are not permanent. I can change which drawings I have up anytime that I want.

PS: I love to hang up pictures that my boyfriend draws for me 🙂

My Corona Bullet Journal

Bullet Journaling

While I have stayed consistent with my monthly and weekly spreads, my weekly spreads have become much more detailed while being in quarantine. Usually my weekly spreads show what i am doing throughout the week as an overview. Lately, they have been more specific. Each morning, I go through my schoolwork and write down what i have to acomplish for each class period. This helps me to manage my time during my day. Also, I have been adding more to-do lists. This can be seen on Monday and Tuesday of my weekly shown above. I have off of school the rest of the week. Happy Easter!

Quarantine has been hard for everyone. Staying home can get boring and quite lonely. But using my bullet journal to organize tasks and stayed productive has really helped me. Not to mention, I have been enjoying having the time to sit down and draw and do art more often! I will make sure to make more posts about what I have been doing. I have entertained myself by going on walks, organizing my room, cooking, working out, watching new shows, and of course, bullet journaling!
